Homestay families, Young Dreamers, community members, and program participants were eating, playing games, and making music together under the stars.  Teachers and students alike read letters they had written in gratitude (in Spanish) to their homestay families around the bonfire. Even in our short program, we had created meaningful relationships and authentic bonds with local community members.  None of us expected that in a single week, this bond was possible.
